I like the way the casters match the clutch.

I have to admit, that's a good looking scope, Tom.

Great job!. It's always nice to see one of these old beauties come back to life. Now that's a scope. I hate Dobs.

You and me both.  I think they nearly killed quality ATMing.  (but now I'm off topic, so I'll zip it before Chuck "Gibbs slaps" me)

I have a Question .....Please .... Are the setting circles locations Switched ?.....ie.. RA setting  circle where Dec should be ? and visa versa ?

Yep they are  not correct. You are right.  I only looked at the size of the center whole when putting them together.  It looked as if it could only go on one way.  The bushing on the counter weight shaft may be able to fit the Dec shaft.  There may be a problem in that the DEC shaft may be too short for it now that the byers drive is on.

Hmmmmm , , ,  that makes me mad.   The DEC normally has a chrome ring on it.  This mount does not have the ring.  It must use the bushing instead.

Here is the original mount before taking apart.  The thicker center setting circle is clearly on the DEC as it should be.

Well, I've pretty much exhausted myself getting this done.  Guess it results in errors.  It can be fixed.  Hope I don't have to buy a new shaft for it.

Tomorrow I leave for a road trip to pick up another telescope.  I better slow down!   Smell the roses and have a beer.

Pinky is marvelous.

Tom you need a really flashy outfit, like Elton John or Liberace would wear to go with it.

I dunno,  maybe it should be Blue and Pink not White and Pink.  But it looks fabulous.  Anything that's a work of love is also a work over time so don't sweat it being switched up a little. good job!

Tom what I'm saying is I think you should have a suit-n-tie outfit to go with Pinky's spectacular presence.

Wow! This isn't a telescope it's a work of art! I can't believe the difference between the beginning and end. The pink looks like a laquer job on a restored car.
My wife is jealous! Now she wants one too... gee thanks a lot.
Impossible act to follow!
