Look at this micrometer! It has three little microscopes for reading the PA scale. This thing was intended for serious proper motion study!

FYI I asked Patrik what the status of the scope was and the bottom line is that the University is prohibited from selling it.  It may be able to be restored on site, but no one has stepped forward so it will likely stay in its current state.

Assuming this scope remains in place, what a waste!  This 4" class scope has enough accessories to discover a new planet.
