Before you try Tony's process I would read Ivo's comments on post 19 discussed in the thread on DSLR forum. I think Ivo is correct and other than dithering - which I've been doing for awhile - I wouldn't use Tony's other ideas. The thread is here: http://www.cloudynig...n-using-a-dslr/

A side by side comparison of the same lights processed conventionally and by the Tony Hallas method would be interesting. And also conventionally using the same lights but with the other frames Tony does not use.

To be really useful, such a comparison would need to include the amount of time spent collecting data for each, and the amount of time spent processing.
