Hi Tamiji! Now those are some sets..I'm curious to know what you think of the 30mm TAK LE compared to 32mm TV Plossls in an 8" Edge SCT? I have one 32mm plossl and just ordered another one. Last night I was putting it in the binoviewer and may have noticed blackout if eyes are not perfectly positioned. But it's better I try this again with 2. I'm trying to understand if I should get an eyeguard extender from Tele Vue, I also do not wear glasses, but contacts.
How are you managing to binoview 22mm Naglers? With a Siebert 2" Binoviewer? What do you think of the view? Think it would be useful to someone with an 8" SCT?
TV Nagler 13 vs 16mm, which one do you use more if any? I have 1 TV Radian 18mm and looking for another, you seem to like those if you put a pic with them
Same with the Tak LE 30's! Ever tried Brandon 32's?
I use Takahashi LE 30 most with binoviewer. I feel most natural with LE 30. The second most used one is
Zeiss/TMB 25mm eyepiece.
Somehow I have eye positioning issues with Televue Plossl 32. I rarely use them with binoviewer. I use them in finder scope.
Regarding eyeguard, I don't use it because it often causes fogging up eye lens. If you are looking for a solution to steady eye positioning with eyeguard, I would use small ladder next to scope that you can lean on, hand on to hold you upper body steady. For blocking stray lights, I use hood or jacket over my head if necessary.
I have a few binoscopes that I use Nagler 16/13, Nikon NAV SW 17.5/14 with. They are equally used.
I have very little issue with short eye relief. So I am fine with Nagler 16.
Docter UWA 12.5s sit in eyepiece holder of one of binoscope (yielding44x, 95mm aperture). I think it is one of the finest eyepieces for binoviewing except weight.
Radian 18 was utilized more before Nikon NAVs. I don't use Radian 18 lately. I haven't used Brandon 32 yet.
For 2" eyepiece pairs, they are also for binoscopes, not for binoviewers.
