Hi all,

I've been quite lazy and should have posted these images...a year ago :)

But better late that never so here it goes: cutting a long year short, these images are my first of my 2nd year in imaging (about 15 months ago) when I stopped with my 1st year's rig (a c11 edge HD with Hyperstar and and Honis RGB modded 600d...beautiful camera and mod).

On this debut of my 2nd year i decided to give my dear friend Luis Campos a vote of confidence and buy and try out his 1st MonoMod - monochromatic and TEC/Peltier cooled - canon 450d camera with me new 2nd year setup: an Orion Optics CT 8 newt.

Keep in mind that I only had one year of imaging and that I had never tried doing H-alpha...or a used a monochrome camera.

Well, below are my 1st four results with the incredible Luis Campos MonoMod.

NOTES:

- The Horsehead (my 1st ever monchrome and h-alpha image9  won a 1st place in a Deep Space Imaging contest.

He doesn't have one but he's an active member here on CN so you can contact him easily here. just PM him and he'll give you all the info on his MonoMods. Keep in mind that when you order there is a waiting list (not too big) of a couple of months. usually there isa  very short delay, depending on the testing and weather conditions. Luis never ships a camera without doing a Deep Sky testing session. I know my camera is due in about three weeks and that his schedule for April is already full. I believe he might make some room for May, but the best thing is to ask him directly.
