My first telescope, received as a Christmas gift in 1958, was a Rodenstein 60mm f/11 (700mm) refractor which I still have and use. My parents purchased it at Eaton's, which was then Canada's largest chain of department stores. The optics are only fair but I've kept it all these years for sentimental reasons. It is currently the guide scope on my 8-inch refractor. I did a search on this forum as well as the refractor forum for any mention of this brand and found nothing! Does anyone know anything about these scopes especially with regard to their rarity?
