No I bought them and other equipment in a bulk purchase and will have to sell the 8 before to long.

I have a 7" f/6 and an 8" f/10. The 7" is so good I dont feel Im missing anything not having the 8" out, so it will probably get sold sooner or later

I'm torn between resisting and buying it...getting first dibs, preferential treatment, or some other personal advantage not offered to any other potential buyers with cash in hand. :)

That's actually my dream scope. Maybe Darren will hold it for a year, or let me borrow it. You know, just to see if I really like it. :)

Meanwhile I just settle for drooling...house and home have priority right now. But, "before long"...things may change. I am a "Mak Cass People" after all.

And after you get your hands on it Norme, just make sure you send that 6" Orion this way :).

Since this thread was last active, I have upgraded my focuser (see previous HERE & HERE).  Could not be more pleased with Moonlite's attention to detail, particularly with the Intes scopes...  I have also fallen victim to the Baader Hyperion Zoom, it works very well with the focal length of this scope.

I am glad this post has been resurrected.

I have a 90mm Maksutov for travel, and a 180mm for more serious work. Both are by Synta. I purchased a diagonal with fine focusing to supplement the 180mm's moving mirror.
