It does. Bomber Bob gave me the solar screen and bracket. There is one person possibly ahead of you, I'm awaiting his approval of the shipping cost.

I am in Marquette, in the Upper Peninsula, about a 10 hour drive from Toronto.

EDIT: it is available. I don't mind holding it for pickup if you want to drive that far. Alternatively I could ship it somewhere in the US closer to you.

Much appreciated - turns out we’re still not allowed to cross the border into the US yet. I looked at shipping and it was way too much. I’ll have to pass. Thank you for entertaining the idea.

Free to a good home: One nice metal dew shield for a mid-sized (3 to 4 inch) refractor. Paint is original finish, nice bright white polished enamel with no scratches, label marks, etc., and it’s perfectly round with no dings, dents, or warps. It has an even flat black (original finish) inside. It’s 6” long and the interior diameter is 4 and 1/8 There is a felt band attached with adhesive glue where it slips onto the lens cell. This will make an excellent replacement for a messed up dew shield for your  restoration project or one that has gone missing. It would also be nice for an ATM project scope as well.

It’s yours for the cost of shipping (USPS priority mail, US Only). $16 should cover postage to your door in a medium-sized flat-rate box.

Meade Model 390 OTA:

Meade 390 Restore S24 - OTA Repaint (LS).jpg

Mizars came in, so this Meade needs to go.  For the cost of shipping, you get the Scope, Finder, & tube-crusher Rings -- but not the SVBONY dovetail.

My Rule:  No flipping for a calendar year.  My Preference:  A new Classic Forum member / poster who doesn't have a LONG Refractor.

Shipping won't be cheap -- over-sized & odd-shaped box, and I pack like the shippers will use it for soccer practice!

PM BB if interested -- No Replies on this thread.  I will ignore them!

BIF:  I like to leave these "ads" Open for at least a few days -- give more CNers a chance to see it & respond.  Lots of great requests so far -- mainly aimed at Young People who are scope-less -- my Target Audience!!

I have the fork mount, wedge, and tripod for an old Celestron C8.

I do not have a cord for the motor. I have no idea if the motor works. its marked 110 volts AC.

The original mounting hardware for the fork mount is missing. The hardware for the wedge is not original either.

I live in Tacoma WA 98498.

Pay for shipping and these treasures could be yours, or I can meet up with you.

This has been living in the yard, or on porch. The declination clutch has a dent.

Two local folks have expressed interest, so these items have been claimed.

I've decided to keep the Jason 313 mount and tripod that I refurbished.   I spent a lot of time and love on them.

The OTA is still available.   No diagonal or eyepieces or mounting hardware or solar screen, as I'll be giving those things to my daughter for use with her own scope.  Also remember there is no eyepiece in the SLR finder.   I will include the clamshell; it's the mounting part that is hard to find and will easily bolt to a dovetail bar.

I can make a fairly small box for it as I will detach the objective cell, so shipping shouldn't be too bad.

Is that a 6243?  I have one of those. I like it.  I use it to monitor my beehives because it focuses fairly close.  I can sit maybe 20 feet away and get a good view of what they are doing.  Nice binocular, I think made by Otsuka, J-B46.

Anyone looking to replace the bulb from the old Japanese eyepiece tray lights with a RED one? Bulb is labeled NORELCO 222 HONG KONG A1I. I have 5 that I can offer up for shipping costs in bubble envelope.

Still available. No one needs one? New price! Due to another’s generosity, this offer now INCLUDES SHIPPING!

The Jason 313 is mostly spoken for.  The objective cell and focuser are shipping out tomorrow.  What's left is the tube with the SLR finder missing its eyepiece.  Just under 26 inches long, decently flocked in front, not so much in back.  Looks like one baffle just forward of the finder mirror.  The outside has quite a few minor scratches in the paint.

Sears used that number on a 60mm and a 76mm. The 60mm had a little underlined #4 preceding it. That makes a big difference in which legs they are.

Rescued from trash. I THINK it is a 2080 LX3. I’m sure the drive is toast, but someone may be able to make use of parts. Spent a few years in the weather. Yours for shipping cost.
