When we set up, could we make a point of doing so reasonably close to the power outlet (ie the clubhouse) ? Within reach of long extension cables. If we can then I will do some imaging.. if not then no big deal.

If you spot a lost tourist with two kids do me a favor and lead us in, Zach :smirk:

Your not driving from arizona are you?

No Zach, we'll be at Sky Tour on the last day of our summer vacation. We're flying into Michigan the week before and then taking a rental car through Ohio. Can't wait! :jump:

Paul,
That can be arranged. Same side of field as last year, we'll need the room with all the scopes and gear.

right now. I hope to see all my CN friends there for at
least one night. :)

Okay, we are 6 weeks away from SkyTour. I'm going to try and make it there a little early so we can get the same area of the field as last year. Will get closer to the clubhouse this year.

The scope line up should allow all of us to indulge in some fantastic viewing, DOBs, refractors, SCTs, MAKs. Some immagers, sketchers and visual observers thrown into the mix , is going to make this a great time regardless of the weather.

Be sure to charge your portable power, check that you have all your gear (That includes mounts). bring sunscreen and bug repelent, and mingle with the other observers.

See you there. :jump:

It could have been worse, he could have brought the mount but not the scope. Good thing Scott had a mount that worked with the eval scope. :p

I'd say yes by all means bring it. John is very much the "gearhead", and should be able to help you out.

Please bring it - playing with telescopes is a big part of the fun at these things for some of us (certainly it is for me).
