Has it happened? A person killed by a falling rock from space? Looks like it, so far anyway.

A case of bad luck.

This has long been my preferred method of death. From behind. Instantaneous, but not likely.

Unfortunately, it seems much more likely that the explosion was caused by a bomb.

Hi,

The last photo posted looked familiar, I found it on the Wikipedia "Meteorite" page. Here is the caption from the image:

"NWA 859 iron meteorite showing effects of atmospheric ablation."

Thanks,

Peter

Thanks, my wife tells me that I spend too much time looking at photos of meteorites.
