A couple of weeks ago I picked up a T-ring to try my hand at astrophotography. I was out practicing some daytime moon photos with my 8" EdgeHD when I noticed an airplane was going to pass close to the moon. I had the clutches disengaged on my AVX mount, so moved it around until I saw the contrails. Followed them up and went past the airliner, then waited and tried to grab a few pics. The results exceeeded my expectations.

Jet aircraft are pretty interesting machines.
