Not sure what this is, but the mount looks interesting.  Is that a diagonal on the focuser?

https://greensboro.c...5480709375.html

Thats an Edmund's.

probably a single stalk diagonal holder.

Actually the picture shows a star diagonal in the eyepiece holder of the focuser..why I don't know

Definitely Edmund, with an early Orion single-axis drive corrector.  Might even have the Geiseler Electronics name on it.  Tim Geiseler made those in his garage before he started Orion.

Here's another 60x700 Shrine Manon by APL on Fleabay:

http://www.ebay.com/...sd=322041449336

It appears to be missing one of the gear clamp knob/handles.  Won't work without it.  It's not a common thread.  You could re-tap it for something common, but then be out of luck if you ever find the correct, stock handle.  And I'm currently out of spares, sorry!

It looks like it's going to go cheap. Somebody here ought to get it just for the OTA!

Isn't that it in image number 6 , In the eyepiece containment part of the case ?

Edit:  There ARE two!  You can just see a tiny piece of the second handle if you zoom in.  I didn't see that second wisp of black at first.   So, NEVERMIND.  Bid away!

I do wonder why the azimuth slo-motion has been removed from the hub, there's no reason for that.  Hopefully the nuts aren't lost.

That's one of them.  There should be two.  The flex cable is for slow-motion in altitude, it's not a clamp knob.

look in the eyepiece box and you will see the other one is in there along the top edge.

We were looking at it at the same time, Rich.

It's not currently in the Swift registry, but I'll add it soon.  Seems to be complete but I often miss stuff in those pics.

Yeah, 10 miles from me.

But $200 only for OTA, no mount - is it not too much?

Seems high to me.  With no mount, it's not a 15TEA.

you gots to bid high if you want something.   No guts no glory.   If you are going after something on the cheap you will always be outbid.  Of course you have to spot the hidden gems underneath all the dirt.   Of course there is always the other idiot that bids just like you and now nothing goes cheap.  Of course you only bid really high on something that is worth it.  So now, you need to be educated on classics to know what is worth bidding on. of course, of course , of course with every rule there are exceptions.

I just had to send an email to the seller of the Tasco to see if they would be able to ship or have shipped. As always being out of state is a disadvantage when finding CL finds. Waiting to hear back...if they respond back in case AndreyYa does not have an interest in it. I did send a PM to AndreyYa.
