Purely out of curiosity, what does "anti Pixinsight" mean?

Dan will do a talk on how not to use Pixinsight and get the same outcome with alternative tools. would I have gotten your question if i called "processing  without Pixinsight"

No I think that is a better description. 

 

Edit: It also seems like a bit of a odd talk to have considering how expensive alternatives have become (although personally I also use CCDStack, Nebulosity, StarTools, and Photoshop CC), how common PixInsight has become, and how much more advanced PixInsight has become than alternatives in the sharpening, contrast, and noise reduction realms.  Other tools can get you to 85% but that last 15% is hard to do if your tool doesn't have the same algorithms.  If PixInisght was a bit better a preserving color it would just about be perfect.

Well, lets see what Dan''s talk can do with with his alternative tools work flow. also please remember that the talk titles i posted are not the "official" titles they will be posted on the NEAIC Face Book Page and here on CN in the next week. as i said above the names are just there to get people thinking.
