Please join me in congratulating Josh Smith for being awarded the July 2016 Star Contributor award!
Josh is always helpful and level-headed when participating in the fora. He’s a 1st rate imager who takes the time to assist beginners while giving quality feedback to seasoned imagers. Likewise, he takes constructive criticism with grace. He runs the Bi-weekly Imagining Challenge by providing data files for other members to practice their processing skills. This is a prime example of members pulling together to help others progress.
The “Cloudy Nights Star Contributor” symbol is an award of recognition that is presented to selected members each month. Members who have made substantial contributions to this site are nominated and then voted on by the moderators and administrators of Cloudy Nights. Many members of this site make great contributions, and devote much time and energy to the education and discussions that define the Cloudy Nights forums. While it is clear that every member of this community is important to its success, certain members have gone above and beyond the “call of duty”. This is our effort to recognize these individuals.
As a Star Contributor, Josh is presented with a special logo that can be used in his signature line, or as an avatar. This logo is a symbol of thanks and respect from the moderators and administrators of this forum. We sincerely hope it will be displayed proudly.
