I'll have to try posting a photo. I was just out with this scope for a half hour ending at 0605 and find that the star diagonal that I swapped in the other day is already a bit heavy for the alt az mount and tripod. I can see that a sturdier GEM would be good for this scope, but that would defeat the purpose for which I bought this scope. I have GoTo and equatorially sturdy mounts for my other scopes, but I wanted something that I could just "throw" out on the deck and be viewing with wide fields of view. The XLT 102 is perfect for that.
I'm still experimenting and learning what the scope can do. I had no expectations when I bought this on a lark a few days ago, but have been impressed with the views at 20x and 26x. I tried an 18.2mm Delite a couple of days ago, but didn't like the decreased TFOV. Anyway, still playing around.
