Nice work!
Just one thing, I have measured the effective eye-relief of the Conquest HD 15x56 at 13mm (from the edge of the eyecup), it is comparable to what I have seen elsewhere on the internet, Zeiss claims 18mm, the lens of the eyepiece is rather far recessed which could explain this difference. Anyway, as a spectacle wearer I find the ER of the Conquest HD to be too short.
Could you please measure the effective ER of your 15x56s, that would be very interesting to have real life values.
Regards
I agree with your measurement of the "practical eye-relief" as being 13mm for the Conquest ED. The 18mm indicated by the manufacturer are clearly measured from the surface of the eyelens (which is in line with how "the books" define eye-relief, but doesn't help the spectacle wearer much in practice).
For the MeoStar HD, I measure a "practical eye-relief" of about 11mm from the edge of the eyecup (which seems in line with Meopta's indication of 15mm, as measured from the lens surface). Again, probably too short for spectacle wearers (I always observe without).
