Here's an 8" about f/8 ATM reflector on an ATM EQ mount .... Palmer, Mass....$300

https://worcester.cr...5979484560.html

For $300 I'll take a Meade 826 in ten times better shape any day over that pile....

Yup, everything is homemade, but it does have a Unitron finder.

Vintage 60mm ATCO refractor that I've never heard of. Dangerously close to me and few collector buddies. Can someone tell me more about this there isn't much online. Thanks.
Edit woah a double check shows its an 80mm! Even better!

That's a Go Get It Right Now deal.

It's easily worth $250 -- even if the counterweight is missing.  These are great 3" Classics.

looks like an *old* Tasco 76.2/1200

http://charlottesvil...5964857844.html

I guess Patrick Stewart wouldn't be too happy about the $250

...edit:

Oh and speaking of Captain Picard's disapproval:

Here's a 4" Celestron Refractor (no image of name plate) on a Super Polaris for $500

http://richmond.crai...5983803621.html

SP-C102?

Both might be reasonable.  The Tasco may have the box as retailers might think the box unworthy of doting about. Inquire about other possible accessories not mentioned.  The price would be fitting of one complete.

The Celestron is a bit of a trip. It has the swivel finder. Could be an SP-C102F, and I'll leave it at that for those in the know.

It is probably 30mm since the EP is .695 and not much smaller than finder tube. The difference om my 40mm is greater.  Also, the EP on the scope is labeled 12.5 mm and possibly Edscorp. The focuser also looks to be Edmund's. There are a pair of holes between the secondary stalk screws and the focuser maybe for an initial secondary that was incorrectly positioned or replaced with a better stalk.

It's probably a good thing that the Celestron is halfway across the country from me. I really don't have the room, but I'd sure love to have it.
