My third ZWO camera is now the ASI071MC - what Bayer pattern should I tell Deep Sky Stacker to use to correctly process the image into colour - DSS presents choices from generic RGGB, BGGR, GRBG, GBRG - which best matches the camera Bayer pattern?

Many thanks,

Guessing from reading this study on that chip that it is RGGB:

Many thanks! Surprised it wasn't documented somewhere by ZWO themselves!

Well, I just made my first light of ASI071MC and also had to guess the same Bayer. I tried RGGB with PI Debayer, with odd colour results. I tried every combination and finally the one that provide correct results is GBRG.

Have a look to NGC2244 prelimiary result with GBRG combination:

Hope it helps!

Color on this is closer, but still has a significant red bias

i tried to tune it up, but there still seems to be a green cast that I can't shake.

I use Generic RGGB, Bilinear Interpolation. The ASI071MC behaves like a full-spectrum modified DSLR, so the images will show a red bias. I use the automatic color balance function in Nebulosity to correct the color. Setting the background neutral should also work fairly well.
