I wear glasses, and I have heard the ES line has much lower "effective" eye relief than is stated due to recessed glass. Can anyone comment on the ES 68 degree 28mm?

I also wear glasses and I can see the edges without unfolding the eyecup even though is easy to press the glasses on it whether the eye and body aren't in confortable position, so this is could be the main issue: for eyeglass wearers the ES 68 28 eye relief with the cup is a bit tight. At least, with the eyecup folded down I think everybody who wear glasses might see the whole field without hit the EP. These EPs are good with children, because they cannot smear eyelashes upon lens.

Eye relief is quoted at 21.6mm so I'd estimate 18-20mm useable? (total guess though) I use mine glasses on (eyecup folded down) and find it very comfortable, actually find myself backing off slightly. HTH

I can see the entire FOV at once with my glasses on.
