Hello,
I have a question about using barlows with a Denkmeier standard bino. My telescope is an XT10 10" f/4.7 1200mm dob. In my current cyclops viewing, I am mainly a 4 ep and 3 barlow kinda guy. 32mm, 25mm 14mm and 10.5mm with a 2x, 2.5x and 5x Televue barlow/powermate setup. This gives me what I need for mags without having to buy a bunch of individual ep's.
I have a set of Denkmeier standard binos and 1 1/4" OCS on the way. With the OCS I can select 1.2x or 3x magnification, but you have to do some screwing and unscrewing.
Can you use a regular barlow with the binos and/or OCS (or some combination of the O the C and the S) to allow for more flexibility in magnification? I would be pretty excited if I could buy 1 pair of 24 panoptics and go all the way from 50x and 1.3 deg TFOV to 250x (without any OCS magnification) using my current Televue barlows.
Clear skies,
Tom
