Will the camera system work with Orion go to 14 inch telescope or does it have to be some kind of Equatorial mount

The Revolution Imager will work with any telescope that has tracking good enough that the images will not blur during the 5 second exposures (the maximum exposure of this camera). However, the field of view through a large telescope like the Orion 14" inch will be quite small and require very good tracking. I have found that telescopes with focal lengths of 16-40" to be a good match for the little Revolution Imager camera.

I have used Revolution Imager R2. It should work as long as the telescope has tracking. If you have any more questions, go to Electronically Assisted Astronomy (EAA).

Thank you

I talked with the guy from OC telescopes who sells this and said it might be

hard to bring to focus with a Dob, the ad says it works with any telescope.

                  a little misleading?
