there have been previous threads mentionning that the older Jenas (brass barrels) were sharper than newer ones (aluminum).

is that the consensus (i know we seldom resch a consensus here)

No idea, but the 8 didn't exist (I think) in the old brass version, and I wanted my set to be from the same generation.

i saw these comparisons by Astrojensen i think, in which older brass 10mm czj was compared to newer 10mm 10 czj and provided sharper views. but i am aware of only one thread on these comparisons
