Unitron 80mm Spotter w/Case (no tripod) --> http://www.ebay.com/...sMAAOSwoRBZqvZd

No stand or mount, but the seller states that up front.  These have no 1/4-20 mounting hole, so without the stand & tube clamp, could be difficult to mount.

Look at the pictures. The tube clamp/clamshell is there. The have a tapped 1/4-20 hole in the circular base. It would go on any photo/video tripod with a panhead.

They started in the late 60s. I guess they went through the 80s.

On eBay, a circle T Tasco 9TE OTA for parts?  It's a 60 X 700 with a manual for a 9TE, with two other scopes, including a really rough looking circle T Meade and more junk. This listing has been on for a long time, so might be open to a better price, but if you need focuser knobs, objective looks okay (I'm in the sun on an iPad smoking some ribs).

I don't need another 8" project, but someone else might appreciate this (perhaps especially because of the Galoc eyepiece and barlow)

You'd have to stand on a ladder to use that barlow!

That's the guy who was also selling the unihex in a box.  I had said it would be listed for a long time.  Half hour later the unihex sold for $300 plus shipping!  Go figure. That box must have made the price double(?).

 There's no tripod, no eyepieces, and no prism, but it is a 62mm from the 50's.

This thread has run it's course, I'm locking it and Brian can start a new one when he has time.
