I think I milked all I could out of last weeks runs. This time I tried dyadic processing and resized 90% to make it a little sharper. I also stacked 75% of 5500 frames so I could sharpen a bit more. 8SE scope with a 2X barlow and ASI224MC and my ADC. Still learning how to use the ADC!...John

Great pic. I've the exact same setup as you. Where was this taken from? What was the elevation of Saturn?

Hi Kev,

From my backyard in Madison Alabama. I believe the altitude was close to 30 deg.

Do you use a UV/IR cut-filter? Should give you better pics. The ASI224MC is highly sensitive to IR. Or maybe you know this already.

Capture more frames. Try doing a 4 or 5 minute capture on Saturn. Last time out I captures 30K frames with an ASI224.

Wow! Fantastic image. That is the quality I am after. I'll try a higher number of frames and see what I can get....John
