I liked the image below picturing different types of mounts. My suggestion for their next ad would be to include images of Parallax or Astro Physics mounts:

Here is an example of an equatorial mount...

Yes, the guy is either unusually ignorant or dishonest. From his description there's no telling what the scope OR mount might be. :silly:

Maybe it's a G8 (fat chance!)?

come on guys, like he said, a scope is only as good as its mount(and with that scope, it's probably the case), and that's a REAL vixen german equatorial mount. show a little respect! :grin:
