Hello , I am very happy with this new purchase. Images are very bright and clear , nice feel in hand. Fully multicoated lenses and prisms ,21mm eye relief with a 5.3 exit pupil. Center focusing wheel has a nice feel with no play , nitrogen filled barrels and fully waterproof . Interpupillary distance is a little short , 71mm. But with the 21mm eye relief I have no problems , I can rack the eyepiece in a click to see more comfortable .Sweet spot of around 80%to 85% of image circle before noticing any softness . They weigh around a pound and three quarters. Last night got a great view of the andromeda galaxy , and checked out the Orion constellation. I will use these for many different applications .

clear skies , Dave

Congrats; they sound as nice as they look. Will serve you well I think; 8x42 is a good allround size.

Hello , these were made in china , but they are made to vixen specs so should not be a problem.
