Equipment:
Canon T5 camera, WO GT71 scope, AVX mount, Solomark F50 guidescope w/ altered generic webcam using LuSol Guide Software, Camera controlled by 'Eclipse Orchestrator' software.

 

Data:
44°25'46.60"N, 117°35'45.58"W, 4870ft ele. (approx 25mi west of Huntington Oregon). Four image stack at prime focus, ISO 100, f/5.9, 1.3 to 6 sec

 

Processing:
All processing including stack in Photoshop CC 2017, no darks or flats.
(64mb png file reduced to 500kb to meet attachment size restrictions. 10mb file can be viewed in my gallery)

Equipment: Canon 60D, ES102 Essentials, Celestron AVX, Solar Eclipse Maestro.

 

Processing: Combined several exposures from ISO 200 1s to 2.5s in Merge to HDR in Photoshop.

 

Location: About 20mi outside of Madras, OR 44.831519, -120.902749

AT72 w/ stock Canon T1/500D controlled w/

SETN'c software, Celestron Advanced CG5GT mount.

Main Corona image processed w/Adobe Bridge & HDR

output to PS6. Radial Blur for details.

Earthshine/Luna image layerd from an overexposed corona image.

Some tweaks to that image prior to layering.

Near Salem,OR

Sorry for the late response on getting the winners posted. Was a busy weekend for me.

Thanks for the gratuities & selection as "The winner". It was a bit of a processing challenge to get Luna exposed "just right", and to keep the details intact and defined. Especially keeping the Prom's visable as well as the limb of Luna semi defined.

 

@ ilikeit's version is also a "tie" for "runner up"..good job!
