What is the best way to go about taking flats with hyperstar? I have been using the t-shirt method for a while, before I purchased the hyperstar. Now that the camera is in front, what's a good way to get flats? Now that the t-shirt wont lay flat against the scope?

Thanks.

I can pretty much guarantee that you would need to be using a dew shield.

Put your t-shirt over the top of the dew shield and secure with an elastic cord- you may need a few layers to get an acceptably long enough exposure as the RASA is very fast and a lot of cameras don't like exposures of very short duration. That's the way I take my flats if I can't use sky flats which is very rare because of the very short exposures required.

I did not think of using the dew shield for that. Great info!
