I remember watching this on Youtube when it was published and thinking that I need to move out of town at some point and make it happen.

6 years to send kid to college - expect to hear from me then!

Edit: We will be discussing a Star Trek The Original Series theme at that time wink.gif

Hi Wayne,

Love the look of the Pod Max, and am seriously considering one. I realize they are pretty new and wondered if you have had feedback from actual users yet. Being in Central Oregon I am faced with a wide range of temperatures, snow, high winds and rather intense sun. Security is also an issue. My plan is to install a TEC200ED refractor inside on a permanent pier.

I left a voice message yesterday as i figure chatting on the phone is far easier than emails. Hope to talk to you soon!

Larry

Thanks Larry!

Owners are loving their MAXs and I can put you in direct touch with some to speak to directly. There is a MAX in OR you can visit. I look forward to speaking with you. Will call.

Love to see one, where in Oregon is it? Also, when would be a good time to chat in the next few days/week?

Hi Larry,

It's Port Orford. I can set you up with the owner.

We're going to be out installing our CRM-114 remote control system in a local MAX on Wed and Thurs, and preparing for that today. So how about Friday or the weekend for a call?

I'll need your number. You can find my cell number on the POD MAX website. Or email me with your number thru the POD MAX website.

Yes Larry. Call me any time. 7 days a week. Great scope for a MAX! MAX is nice and tall. I should mention I'll be out-of-doors working on a MAX on Wed and Thurs. Hard to talk when you're up a ladder with tools in your hand. lol

Hi everyone! It's been a while because we're always busy (thank you!) . We're getting close with our POD MAX funding program for schools and clubs, etc. We'll be posting more about it over the next couple of months.

We don't want to broadcast about it all at once, for fear of being overwehlmed by the response. CN is good place to at least "squeak" word out to serious astronomers, and those involved in education and outreach.

If you dream about having a research grade observatory for your group, click on any of the emails on the POD MAX website www.skyshedpodmax.com  We'd be happy to have a chat with about how the program will work. We don't want your money. Our efforts together can make it happen. We can tell you more.

Hi Darcy! Yes, just putting the final touches on the program. Took a couple of years to develop. I can call you?

Hi Wayne,

Apparently I am also really busy, as I am just getting back here to check on this.  An email might be better....you can reach me at my school email at darcy.mcquillan@rdcrs.ca

I seriously doubt both our schedules would match up easily, so this might be an easier solution right now. :)

Thanks!

Darcy
