I am really starting to like my Telepod.
Nice report.

Me too Scott. I've had my pst and WO ZS80 on this mount for a couple of months now, and I find myself simply ignoring my larger scope that sits on a GEM...just too difficult to set up and use for casual observing. I guess the adage is true: the best scope [and mount] is the one you use.

It is so much lighter than the EQ I was using with the Nighthawk.
Since I pretty much just do widefield with my little SV, the Telepod works really well.

I had a panoramic mount once with a TV Pronto-very solid and stable, but did not fold well for transport unless the ep tray was completely removed. I like the Bogen tripods and UA mounts better for small scopes.
