Do you remember your first pictures of Orion. Mine was with an achro refractor on an AVX. My guess is that M42 has led to a lot of expensive purchases of astronomy equipment. The astronomy equipment manufacturers are likely very grateful to the Great Orion Nebula. This picture is kind of a throwback to my earliest efforts, and has 157 seven second subs stacked in DSS and developed in Star Tools and Gimp. This was taken tonight with an unmodded Canon 6D at 3200 ISO using an Orion 10"/f 3.9 reflector unguided on a iOptron CEM 60 with flats and bias.
