Oh Oh-

I was hoping to one day own one of these 4 inch beauties. Am I looking at $11-12,000? Oh well, it makes the fairly large sum of money I have spent to put together a sears 90mm equatorial refractor seem like a real bargain!

Seriously, what do you think is a fair price for a 4 inch Unitron equatorial these days? Anyone have one for sale? Just askin'...

You know Steve you really don't need to spend that kind of money, I have seen fine examples of these for much less. You really have to be patient and just put it out to the Universe and bingo. Don't get in a hurry and just search diligently every night on all venues and you will get what you want. Why I'll bet you may even be able to talk one of our veteran members to part with one of theirs, you never knowsmile.gif

To me fair would be under $1000.  But in the real world a complete pre 1965 M160 would be worth 5K+.

crazy high at $3K.  My Nautilus is worth 3K if the posted one is -  and that price is so far off that I would never accept that kind of money even without consideration of Karma.

Nautilus Not for sale.

This one's been up for sale for quite some time. Personally I'd have gotten a hint that I've overpriced it after 4-5 months and acted accordingly. That said It is a beautiful scope. Is it even functional? Not one picture of the mirrors and yet we have a beer can...lol.gif

Restoration project Criterion Dynascope on eBay.

Looks to be an 8".  Has the wooden tripod which fits inside the pier - never used one but always thought that was a cool idea.
