Greetings from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St Paul!!  The Minnesota Astronomical Society is proud to announce we are hosting the 2018 Astronomical League Convention (ALCON 2018) from July 11th to July 14th, 2018.

 

Early-bird registration through Sunday, May 6th.

Sorry for the late reply. It was a good event and thanks for those of the Minnesota Astronomical Society for putting this event on. The Starbecue with live band was one of the highlights of the events held at the Onan Observatory site. A beautiful place and good viewing until Lisa and I packed it up around 2:00 AM. 

 

Lisa shows John her classic Edmund 6" reflector and how she gets it through airports. John is another classic Edmund 6" owner that has his on display in the antiques room.
