I am looking for travel packages around astronomy in west Africa. I would like it to be a about a week or more long and I will be taking my father and my daughter. Does anyone have an recommendations of programs that they both liked or ones to stay away from? I am planning on doing the trip next year.

Resources we are looking for in the package:

-Rental gear to use while onsite, telescopes, camaras and such

-Fun day trips to do while the sun is out

-Someplace comfortable to sleep

-Prefer a place with some internet

I've seen a fair number of posts on this on European astronomy forums, such as Stargazerslounge, as it's comparable to us traveling to Chile for them, you might want to search there, and also the German forums using Google translate.  The reports I've read have been very positive, great facilities and great skies, and Namibia is a spectacular place to visit.
