I passed through Toledo a week ago! If only this ad had been up. Would've bought it and found a way to fit it in the car somehow.

great price indeed, and only 40 miles away.

It is very, very tempting, but I will let a lucky person nab it.

Old CG5 mount, just like the one I have, just like another one I want.  I would love to have another one.

https://www.cloudyni...nd-wood-tripod/

. . . if it were only within close driving distance, I would grab it.  To me the price is good.

Can't pay me to touch one at least not the first Gen made in 1997 like i had. I know they got better a few years later.

I remember you had said that before, and it was discussed.  You are correct the first ones weren't that good, but the later ones were.

No more SCT's for me ever. Just never happy with them and the FC.  I need the cash flow for a FS128, or even a FS152.

Yes

I too fancy a FS-128.  Admittedly  I need to step back  and save up for a FS-128  so I am ready when  a nice one pops up down the road.  Seems like a nice goal for next year.

p.s.

I keep getting tripped up by these nice deals on 80mm Japanese refractors that I cant't pass up on...The Selsi is nice and easy for grab and go. Just found a very low cost Meade tripod for my 50.00 craigslist brass Meade 314.....and the the thing is  the tripod came with a blue Meade 312 that has a mount issue....I just wanted the tripod but now there is yet another refractor on the pool table.... Some deals on craigs are hard to pass on....others are easy...then there was also  the nice 60mm Monolux from the young genius down the road  from me....the 60mm Scope scope....the Meade ETX90 from the Fairfield dump......is there a 12 step program for this?

Sears 6345 --> https://www.cloudyni...ers-considered/

I think this is the most complete 6345 that I've seen.  Shipping to the USA wouldn't be cheap, but these are rare and the performance is legendary.

I don't even see FS128's for sale anymore. Avg used price is around 2.8 to 3.5k.

That is 100 percent original, even the tube paint, and possibly the best example I've seen. That's like going back to 1974 for me!

Fair price for the 6345. Maybe even a little low.

I just noticed, the eyepieces are out of order :)

Should be black, red, blue, silver, green.

I really need another silver!
