Someone let me know when they see them, because I will certainly be interested in a "I survived the Great Martian Dust Storm(s) of 2018" T-shirt!

 

Here are 2 single images from at the scope this morning. Seeing? Not horrible, not great. Focus...pretty good for a 'featureless' ball of dust!

 

I'll see if I can do better after work.

What's the planet's declination in your sky for this right now? Which Barlow used here? Nice work! (cough cough)

What's the planet's declination in your sky for this right now? Which Barlow used here? Nice work! (cough cough)

Declination is about -21.5. It was somewhere between 28 and 29 degrees altitude when taking these. I'm using a 2.5x Powermate at the moment, for about f/22 on the C11.
