I am having issue with downloading images from the camera QHY183 mono, running on Ubuntu Mate.

Tried to change cables, powered USB 3 and 2 hubs.

Is it something to do with firmware upload?

Let me know if you need any more information.

Running Linux Mate here also on big desktop system.  I have never plugging in a camera to it yet, always used windows laptop.  Will try this system and see what I get.

The lines:

"Jun 18 00:46:27 anwenet-desktop systemd-udevd[2879]: Process '/sbin/fxload -t fx3 -I /usr/local/lib/qhy/firmware/QHY183.img -D /dev/bus/usb/001/004' failed with exit code 185.

and

Jun 18 00:46:27 anwenet-desktop kernel: [ 49.167167] usb 1-1.3: usbfs: USBDEVFS_CONTROL failed cmd fxload rqt 64 rq 160 len 4096 ret -71

indicate problems and I don't know how to fix that right off the top of my head.

Stay tuned.

Hi all,

we will release a new version of our Linux/Mac drivers as well as TSX's X2 drivers for both OS.

The QHY183M is working now, but still have to fix another problem with longer exposures which still

produces bad images. I work on that hard, so please be patient. Sorry, for such delays and problems.

Thank you,

Jan
