Hi here,

A nice sunspot group AR12713 is near to departure from the visible Sun face.

Here this group shows it's welth of Ellerman bombs and nice grass field of spiculaes.

The image was taken June 22 2018 at 06h 33m UT  with a second hand old C11 telescope equipped with

the ARIES full size 295mm DERF filter and an eyepiece based etalon (different to Quark ) shifted to the H-a  blue wing.

The seeing was vriable from average to good.

Thanks for looking and comments.

Wonderful results, Valery. I would love to see a short animation of shifting the etalon wavelength from red to blue wing.

12713 just gave a goodbye wave off the south (right) side as it departs.  When i started a short PST session to check out new Maier ITF, there was a thick tongue of flame. 5 min later the center opened up like the eye of a needle.  Within 10 min the lower boundary fell back to limb leaving a thinner line of prom.  But soon it fell also and this short action was over.  Looks like SDO captured some of it in the 48 hr movie at 304 nm.  First time I have seen this kind action in 90 days of solar viewing.  Awesome. ---.  Steve
