Ziggy is soaring with the objects he loved to share! Truly a Jupiter among outreach and amateur astronomers. Condolences to his family and friends.

My condolences Chuck. May your memories of your friend bring warmth and comfort in those quiet times we spend in our own heads, and may those memories bring a smile to your face.

Ziggy seemed like a class act and I wish I could have met him. Condolences to all, and hopefully his son keeps the Clark in use in honor of him.

The local club is having a tribute to Ziggy at our regular monthly meeting on the 18th. Member's pictures of Ziggy as well as stories will be shared. I expect lots of tears, as well laughter at the nearly half century of good memories. His life was his gift to all who knew him.

My heartfelt condolences to family and friends.
I only knew Ziggy from his posts on this forum.
His posts (if I was lucky enough to see) I would open as they always were thoughtful and had substance to our hobby.
I have always been convinced that his outreach efforts with the Clark was not about him, but was about the opportunity...

This is sad news indeed. My condolences to his family as well.
I find it fitting that he passed peacefully doing something he loved.
