This is a good find for folks in Indiana pick up only  but there seems to be other bidders.....

I contacted a Florida Goodwill once on a "pick-up" only scope to express my dismay that they would not ship.  I learned that while they did not ship they worked with a local shipper I could contact to arrange for pick-up and shipment for a quote.  I was the second person to call that shipper on that telescope.  Perhaps this is the case for the Indiana Goodwill as well.  Still local pick-up bidders can bid higher since there is no $100+ shipping cost to cover.

SPI 527-6301      60MM/1200,,/F20   on c/n In refractors  but I cannot get the link to copy and paste  from this computer    Anyone?

Photos of the scope are accurate. Good condition, except for cabinet, which has delaminated. It has an excellent objective, although it has a few clams. Bomber Bob said that the DPAC results were near perfect on both sides of focus. The pictures did not turn out well due to camera issues. Contact me with questions.

** Notice, this mount is unique regarding the 4 nubs/holes for accessory mounting screws. I understand that there are 3 of these mounts known.

** Note: The label is gone from the focuser, but I have concluded that this is an SPI 527-6301, because the two other identical scopes and mounts are labeled thus.

Happy to provide details. Shipping is on the buyer, as is Paypal. CONUS only, please. Would be willing to drive an agreed upon distance to avoid shipping, and save buyer a few bucks.

$400 OBO

and then there is this.....

C-80  on C/N   again  I cannot get the copy/paste thing going for the link just some words...

Up for sale is my Firstscope 80 (V). I am only selling due to the fact that I have two. This one has excellent images, and very sharp optics. The other scope I have is excellent as well, but cosmetically perfect to go along with it. I am offering the OTA and finder scope only, but would consider the mount and tripod too. For the OTA only, I am asking $115 plus shipping and Paypal. There is coating missing, as you can see in the picture, but this scope is not affected. The views are excellent, and definitely to the standard of the Vixen/Celestron scopes.

If you are interested in the altaz mount, I would throw it in for another $40. Ask for pictures, but it actually looks better than the scope does. Thank you!!! A few scratches on the OTA, but otherwise very good shape. Focuser is smooth as original.

Okay   I was not aware of that       I am a fan of  local pick up when stuff is in my tri state area

I think there is someone   here from Indiana that may be  bird dogging this one ….

Someone local should be able to pop in there and preserve this old one I would hope..

I always enjoy your videos. It's interesting how many times they changed the 128 mount.

BTW, Check photo 4. I believe the tube mounted counterweight is right next to the objective.

Yes, I think you are correct. That would make this a very complete and early Unitron 128. Good to see that it is a pickup only. That way it will stay intact!

Considering it's age and scarcity that Tri-color C5 may not be too out of line especially since they'l take an offer.

70's- 80's? Meade 80mm looks like a Towa 339 in cardboard box and appears to be in great condition.

I posted this one a few days ago and nobody commented.

Was $65, now only $50.

I thought you made glue out of them.

How's this for a nice piece of junk?

Early 50's Unitron 128 Sorry folks, Pick Up Only!

https://www.shopgood...m/Item/56050033

I don't recall ever seeing an old one like this for sale

Edit: Road trip!!!?

What ever happened here. It’s now marked “auction ended” and not shown as sold. Price is also back down to $9.99 with 0 bids, (it had been up to $109 a couple of days ago). Looks to me like some hanky panky went on here!

That one with the pier is a deal.  Once again I just do not have the room.

The 152 is another super deal.
