Hello to everyone!

I've just purchased this 0,96'' diagonal. It's made in Japan but can't identify the mark of manufacturer: a red star (not laying on crescent moon) ....any idea?

Clear skies!

Marco

Looks like the typical diagonal that came with tons of Towa scopes with a homemade star scratched into it.

Google "gangster disciples" and you'll find who preowned your diagonal.  lol.gif

Ahahaha...lol.gif ...well, the scratched star can mean something and I bought the diagonal just for its odd look...

I downloaded it and sized it so everyone can easily view it.

I still think it's the typical ones (Tani?), that came with many Towa scopes with a star scratched into it by a former owner.

Those can be pretty good diagonals actually. They have an oversized prism and aren’t stopped down. They are perfect if you want to cut down and convert a click-zoomer into a little RFT.

Too many diagonals! Maybe start a new thread. Nah. I have some other ideas to customize but it most likely will be just me with my exacto knife. Who else is going to join? That's ok. I can be second, third, and last, right? It is just scratches in paint. Reversible but I think I could get into this defacing and perhaps adding interest {?) to classic pieces. Perhaps the interest is just getting me to post again which is worth altering a few diagonals for me.  Stop me if this is too painful for you but I'm scratching away as I write. And I say I can't multi-task!

First one.

It's ok Chris, just stuff. I found a bag of diagonals with chipped prisms and a weekend with no plans lol!
