Celestron C11, operating at native f/10 2800mm.  Canon 60Da, 1600 ISO, 5 minutes, autoguided on AP 1200.

See if you can find it.  Hint: "Mickey Mouse Ears"

Here is an annotated image.

Difficulty of imaging this sort of object.  I'm using a 65mm refractor as a finder and centering scope.  Impossible to centre the field if you can't see the object....

Haha i knew it instantly - its an ongoing project of mine at the moment! Ive been staring at that field for nights.

There's another bright globular just off the field on the left. If this is a crop, maybe you have it?

Full frame!  So I missed it, I guess...

STSCi 30'x30' image shows a little galaxy there...UGC 330, mag 14.93  1.4'x0.5'......

Mayall III is the second 'star' to the lower right of the galaxy, BTW...  No other globs nearby...

(Fair use with thanks to STSci)
