Get it with the next batch of Unitron gear you need.

You still need a motor drive

Guide scope

Unibalance

40mm finder and uniclamps.

there so so much more to enjoy.

Be my luck to get halfway across The Pond and realize that I left the thing in my car...

Wow, Terra! Thanks for sharing that other Johnny. I really had the Johnny from the old Unitron ad in mind. Seems a lot of Unitron enthusiasts go by that first name....

Why does that c14 look larger than it is.  Either that or johnny was really small.

I did found info on markings in focusers. My 142 mount is come from Sweden, there is sticers Still in the leg, maby the tube is from sweden too ?

" From the mid 1960’s to 1971 Eric Nordquist, owner of Astroniks, marketed these telescopes in Sweden trademarked SEIKO SCOPE or POLAREX. Bjorn Hedvall operated Meridianrefraktorerna in Göteborg Sweden selling these telescopes between 1972 well into the 1980’s trademarked MERIDIAN. Hedvall remains particularly well regarded in Sweden for his work to promote the public interest in space and the Slottskogsobservatoriet (Castle Forest Observatory). You may also find some of the smaller Nihon Seiko telescopes such as the Model 114 bearing the trade name Beli (Beli) and these may have some components (Lens Cover, etc.) labeled Seiko Scope or stamped with the letters N.S.."
