You owned many years ago when you probably didn’t know what you were doing.Owning one and judging them all? You may be suffering from ignorance now....

I knew what i was doing. That was in 1996. It was just flat out bad.  Plus looked thru a few at Star parties marty and they also did not seem so sharp. Great blob busters for sure i will say.

Everytime i started a thread on a scope it sold within hours.

I have the same issue.  What do you think it could be?  Drawing attention to a listing could be it.  naw, that is to simple.  I bet it is your karma.

Oh! You'll all be gruff,

When Chas calls your bluff.

It won't be a joke,

When he shows you that scope.

We can certainly wish, that it might be his type,

Or one of the few that ends, with more than a gripe.

Large to be sure, yet easy to pack,

A Cave that can be lifted and not hurt one's back.

Regardless of how it works out under the stars,

Or finely displays its Ronchi test bars.

I hope he'll have a heart,

And not tear it apart.

In that case though, he may finally be set,

To drive off and observe in his sporty Corvette.

Who read this and then said, oh.....

Well, never mind! rofl2.gif

Congrats all around......looks good  and it seems bigger than   a   6      at least to me from that angle.....

Did you run into a spare tube  did it come with the purchase?

Is it like  Royalty    an heir and a spare?

Enjoy

It was not a 6" really. I wanted to take no chance on someone here taking this scope away from me.  Mirror is soaked from being in a cold truck for hours and into my 90 degree temps.  Got a fan blowing it dry now and should test it out soon.  Mirror is Cervit so we will long it takes to adjust.  I will have more info when i get time.  It is a 10" F/6 and came with another 10" Tube, spider and cell mel.

Wow very nice!

Cave telescopes were made by amateurs for amateurs and there were no bean counters getting

in the way.
