My wife has a licence on Adobe Photoshop. Can that be used for post processing after stacking with DSS?

yes, of course. that's what ive always used. I will probably get pixinsight soon, I have never gotten around to it because it will take hours and hours of tutorials.

ive come very far in photoshop, that is how I started, I got my hands on peoples raw data and processed it myself, before I ever took my first picture.

youtube has a lot of photoshop astrophotography tutorials.

Just checked once again on the BPP script and again it failed

as it did soo many times with the bayer mask of my camera.

Also what I can't find is a decent way to do Bayer Drizzle.

In APP this is completely configurable and works like

a clock!!

Personally, I stick with APP for what I can do and feel

very happy with it.

Using Pixinsight I never got consistent results, having to

change things, try again to see if it works etc....

With APP it is just load all ( Lights, Mdark, Mflat etc ) into it

and select what you like to do and push integrate.

Yes it is not as fast as BPP or DSS but it is consistent and

gives great results.

A colegue of mine when packing up, starts APP on his

laptop, and when he arrives at home, all is processed and ready

to begin with Pixinsight,

I don't regret having bought PixInsight and AstroPixelprocessor,

worth every penny!!

Your mileage may vary of course crazy.gif , just my 2 penny.gif
