Meade 127 APO.  Good deal for  $850.   Not many 5" APO's you are going to find for $850.

The problem with these deals ... the rapid and vicious competition for them. Often when I'd arrange a deal, when I'd show up ontime to make good, it would be long sold, because someone would force a quicker deal after me for a trivial sum more. The seller would feel proud of his better bargain. Kind of like "sniping". Only tiny amounts more, and they'd put the seller through hell (like a 5am sale) to do it!

If that 8" Starfiner was close I might jump.   (no, no, no, I'm downsizing!)

I do like that mount though.

Not really by much. Just make a mounting plate of the pier top so you adjust a tiny bit maybe. That mount looks to be around 45 north.

How do you know it's not south? ;)

I looked at the shadows. But seller is in the north west so it has to be north,

I stick to mounts that do not need a welder or machine shop so I can use them

I bought one a few years ago for $20 at a thrift store. They wanted $30 but I wouldn’t go over $20. I gave it away not long thereafter. He wants $24 for shipping. Pay the shipping and have him give it to you.

This is a much better deal, and much better scope, if you're close enough to pick it up.

What??

Learn from my (many) mistakes:  It's been 40 years, but I could still kick myself for "improving" my Tasco 80mm F15 rather than buying a brand-spanking new RV-6 back then.  For the price of 3 -- just 3! -- Meade RG Orthos, I could've been REALLY seeing stuff!
