And with that rare finder.  I had a similar, excellent condition T-2 loaded, except for that finder.  Impossible to get a hold of, and if you did the cost was outrageous.

Here, its included in a system sale at a price that makes this a real opportunity for someone to own one of the finest instruments of its size.  Only reason I parted with my Telementor was to acquire, from Dave, an equally excellent and rare GOTO Kogaku 75mm refractor for use at a Japanese Museum.

Yes they will transfer.  maybe behind the times but I just checked and my 6344 lens screwed onto two different 10TE tubes, and two different 10TE cells screwed onto my 6344 tube.  Just to let you know.

FWIW the way Japanese supply chain worked at the time tended to create such "matches". One small firm might be obligated on another contract, not being able to keep up a follow-on order "primary" source, so another would build something that would serve as a "second" source of a different but alternately used one.

Mostly trust-able in contemporaneous intervals. Over longer intervals, it would more be a function of what someone last needed to make.

I believe it's a 7TE,  60mm x 910mm.  The mount looks like the one I have.  Still it is a very good scope the lens is by RAO. ( I have a 7TE-2 and it's original mount, and an extra 7TE mount.)

.965: Looks like a very nice set of Sears/Towa eyepieces bundled with a early C90 diagonal.

1.25: Why do so many sellers not realize that the chrome barrel will simply screw onto the eyepiece that's missing it?

Because she is selling it on behalf of her husband, who is the long-time astrology fan.  But she is willing to direct any questions to him.

Tasco 7TE.  One of the few 60mm scopes you can't go wrong on, if it's undamaged.  Someone needs to snag this one.

Dave bought that from me, and he is asking a Very modest price for it, wow what a deal.  When I first received it (delivered to me) it was the third oldest on the Fecker Registry for a long time. I'd be interested if it wasn't for the fact that...well I sold it him to begin with and I'm thinning.  The refinish on the tripod is ACE and the paint on the Scope has been debated as original. If not original it was completely stripped dismantled and refinished to more than nice.
A serious collector item with performance.

Beautiful looking Lafayette Galactic F384.  Looks complete, maybe a little high. I have the Astro Optical version and it is a nice scope.

Yes, but that is the one that was talked about a few posts ago. It has a clam in the lens, but the seller told me it was only a small chip. A picture would be nice.  Either way, it's not in the description.

I read the ad, but still thought she should have noticed how the others fit together and/or asked her husband about it. Stuff like this seems really obvious, but I guess that's asking too much of the general public.
