2045D. If I weren't spending so much on Christmas presents for my girlfriend I'd jump!

Jumping is over-rated.

You could buy it for your girlfriend to give to you!  No better gift than to give a gift to a gifter to give to you in return.  lol.gif  Save her the trouble of shopping for you, and the trouble of returning the clothes you bought her that were too small (yes, always buy a size or two smaller than you think she wears).  Spend your money on helping her help you.

Just kidding around, of course.  Treat her well!  lol.gif flowerred.gif

year 1760 telescope complete.  For those who want to nudge into the 1700's, this may be your chance.  I don't know about tis era and I'd want to check into a lot of confirmations since the collectability would be the BIGGEST aspect by far.

I may not remember what I had for dinner last night but I do remember my first Edmund Scientific

purchase about 1967 when I was 10 years old and for ever more I would receive those wonderful

wonderful catalogs.

Here is the tank prism, my first Edmund order! I later ordered a second one and built a  periscope.

That's an OLD Selsi.  No maker's mark + poor English on the label could mean 1957 or earlier.  Towa?  Likely, but at that time, Towa was sourcing optics from some excellent shops -- every bit as good (and maybe the same) as Astro Optical.

Good catch, Rolo! I have seen a set of Unitron legs sell for about this price by themselves.

I had one of those as well. It was a heavy hunk of glass and it produced the most wonderful spectra!

New in box RV6. If it were at a more modest price (400-500, say) I'd probably consider it.

Seller is a friend of mine I met at Stellafane this year. Didn't realize he was asking so low. Just emailed him.

It's an EMC model, so not really a Classic........
