https://www.ebay.com...gUAAOSwnKFcDF~5

It is 2450 miles from me in La-La Land and shipping is the same: $100

Ebay sellers can select shipping rates that are the same for everyone, or calculated shipping based on weight and size which varies by destination/distance. They can also give the buyer options on cost, lower and slower or higher and faster (usually involving airplane(s), so literally higher and faster).

If I were selling this I would use the calculated method as actual shipping coast may range from $30-80 (rough educated guess).

Tip: you can ask a seller if they will refund any shipping 'overcharge.' It often works.

Now for something completely different.

Still up, but listing states if it does not sell by Sat Dec 8 (yesterday as I post this) he will part it out. So far not parted out

With a missing objective cap, it's worth even less. tongue2.gif

edit: Whoops! Almost violated thread rules with useless commentary. To compensate, here is a Jason Comet Chaser - Ebay

right   and it never hurts to ask re shipping rates......funny the B and L    was made in Connecticut   lives in Brooklyn and is possibly 100 to ship back to southern connecticut     I guess some folks make just a few more bucks with the handling part of shipping and handling  while   as you point out others are happy to work with you on shorter trips....

En Re  the unitron large lot  he did say it was from 2 different Unitron scope purchases....are the parts worth more than the total if you bought them separately?  Are those really 2 complete sets or is there some sharing?

and then there is this     only 30 dollars shipping  Rochester NY

Nice little Sears 60mm:

https://www.ebay.com...cDbeH:rk:1:pf:0

Looks like everything is there, including the little tray light.  But there isn't a wood box.

Even though it looks to be in excellent shape, it's 2x too high, for what it actually is.

Almost always Goodwill prices are too high, but occasionally one slips through the cracks.

Celestron Vintage C5 750mm for $113.

https://www.shopgood...m/Item/59994472

Celestron Nexstar 6SE went for $152.
