Dear friends,
away October 2007, observing the Hubble photo of M42, I discovered an intriguing blue cloud in the form of a boy's head.
A few months later (7 January 2008) I published the news with several photos on the Astronomy Italian forum > astrofili.org.
It is a case of pareidolia but very particular.

The head is seen in detail, with a forehead of the nose, mouth, chin and hair.
With great precision where there is the pupil, in the middle of the iris, there is a star.

As for the horse head nebula, I thought of a name > Giuliani head nebula.

.

The head is also visible in amateur photos as seen at the following links >

Thanks for the attention. Best regards.

And to think that I always saw M42 as the Great Glowing Ghostly Greenish Flying Bird Nebula...

There's a lot of material emanating (from?) the nostrils…
